A Study of Awareness of Research and Publication Ethics among College Teachers in Maharashtra
Abstract This study investigates the awareness of research and publication ethics among college teachers in Maharashtra. In the rapidly evolving academic landscape, ethical research practices are crucial for maintaining integrity and credibility. Through a mixed-methods approach, this paper examines the level of awareness, common ethical challenges, and the need for training programs among educators. The findings highlight a moderate level of awareness but indicate significant gaps, particularly in understanding plagiarism, data fabrication, and ethical publication practices. The study suggests the implementation of comprehensive ethics training programs to bridge these gaps
