DEVELOPING REFLECTIVE SKILLS OF FUTURE ENGLISH TEACHERS

Abstract : This research paper examines the cultivation of reflecting skills in teaching and learning, presenting many aspects that may strengthen the reflective abilities of future English language instructors. Additionally, qualitative study methods, including observations and interviews, together with a pre-post questionnaire, were utilized to assess changes in future English teachers' judgments of reflective skills. The results indicate that the learners have moderately enhanced their introspective skills. To assist prospective English educators in improving their reflective abilities, a structured practice teaching program, adequate time, and numerous chances for practice and reflection are essential.
