Improving PV Module Efficiency and Power Output by Using Water Film Cooling Technique with MPPT Controller on the PV Panel Front Surface

The operating temperature of the cells may be significantly impacted by the electrical performance of the photovoltaic modules due to the characteristics of the crystalline silicon used in solar panels. This research aims to increase electrical conversion efficiency by reducing the solar cell's temperature. The PV module, which consisted mostly of a small glass channel fixed on the front of the PV panel, was linked to a water-cooling system. A water flow rate of 0.089L/s was used in the experiment. The experimental findings show that convective interaction between the cooling fluid flow and the PV plate's front surface, which is brought on by heat dissipation, increases output power. The module temperature drops by 17ᵒ C when the water-cooling method is used. The system's ability to increase the solar panel's output capacity is demonstrated by the approximately 62% improvement in electrical power when compared to the uncoiling state of the panel.
