Optimizing Construction Management: A Review of PrimaveraBIM Integratio

Managing construction projects is not an easy affair since they are characterised by a number of problems such as; Poor scheduling, Co- ordination, and Resource-management problems among others. This is where the combination of Primavera and Building Information Modeling (BIM) presents a solution that improves planning and executing projects, and tracking their progress. This review follows a step-by-step approach: Step 1 – Literature review about Primavera its scheduling function and effectivity in construction management; Step 2 – Analysis on how BIM has enhanced project visualization and circulation, and decision making; Step 3 – Identification of benefits, challenges, and case studies for the integration of Primavera and BIM as per existing literature.This review aims at presenting relevant recommendations towards efficient Primavera-BIM integration and outlining future research opportunities
