STUDYING THE EFFECTS OF SOUND FREQUENCY OF 440 HZ ON HUMANS USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
The frequency of 440 Hz is commonly known as A440 which is also designated as A4. Referring to frequency of 440 Hz as A440 serves as an alternative expression indicating that musical instruments are tuned to 440 Hz for the note A4. A significant number of contemporary musical instruments are calibrated to a reference frequency of 440 Hz, particularly for the musical note A4. Nevertheless, the selection of 440 Hz as a standard tuning frequency for musical instruments is a subject of debate, as there exist other frequency standards that may offer superior harmonic effects. A wealth of Igbo acoustic instruments and melodious sounds in perfect tune with the universe, as well as other musical instruments tuned to 440 Hz are utilized in health facilities, personal residences and at both private and public social settings for entertainments and relaxations, reduction of anxiety and stress, induction and sustenance of self-development, self-esteem and self-expression for a progressive creativity and productivity, as well as promotion of joy, happiness and healthy emotions for enhanced immunity, cognition and general well-being. The inspirational, motivational and rejuvenating sound effects from these sound systems are utility valuables also employed to foster socio-cultural connections and genealogical awareness among individuals of diverse backgrounds and cultural orientations, thereby promoting mutual understanding, respect, peaceful coexistence and gainful partnerships. Sonic-amplified sunbaths, water-cleansing, earthing, and air-baths are frequency energy medical practices among the ancient Igbos and many of their contemporary progenies who equally utilize sounds of distinct frequencies and amplitudes for mental and physical healings during new moons termed ọnwaọhụrụ, and during equinoxes and solstices termed ọdaọmụmụ and ọmụmụ or just ọdaọmụmụ. Additionally, these musical instruments are employed in religious, spiritual, and other music-inclined business ventures. The amplitudes of 30, 60, and 90 dB selected for this research, in conjunction with the frequency of 440 Hz fall within a safe amplitude range for human beings.
