Xenoglossa pomonae

Xenoglossa pomonae (Cockerell, 1915) [Holotype: CASC; ♀ Laguna, Los Angeles Co., California, USA] Xenoglossa pomonae is a highly abundant species in California, USA, with a flight season ranging from April to October. We reviewed one male from Ensenada collected in April 1952 (CASC). This species has an affinity for yellow composites in the family Asteracae. See fig. 116.
