THE USE OF THE DRUG ISMIJEN IN THE TREATMENT OF GINGIVITIS AMONG ORTHODONTIC PATIENTS

This article is devoted to the study of local immunity of the oral cavity in orthodontic patients. The author conducted a clinical and microbiological examination of 30 orthodontic children with gingivitis aged 11-15 years (20 girls and 10 boys), and also examined 10 practically healthy children of the same age (5 boys and 5 girls) in the 56th polyclinic at TashPMI. Results. The revealed favorable changes in the condition of periodontal tissues and salivary microflora correlated with clinical improvement of the local and general condition of patients. In patients of the main group, a positive effect is noted already from the 4th-6th day of treatment, and in the control group - only from the 7th-8th day.
