Teachers' Stress and Resilience

This study aimed to determine the teachers’ level of stress and resilience. The objectives of this study were to determine the teachers’ level of stress in terms of workload, learners’ behavior, and fringe benefits, also resilience, and the significant relationship between the teachers' level of stress and their resilience and to identify which of the independent variables influence singly or in combination the teachers’ level of resilience. The respondents of this study were the teachers from the selected schools in the Division of Misamis Oriental. This study used simple random sampling methods in selecting the actual respondents and utilized an adapted questionnaire to gather data from respondents. Statistical tools like, Mean and Standard Deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient were used in this study. Results showed that the teachers’ stress is at Highly Stressed level while their resilience is at Very Highly Resilient level. Workload is significant but negatively correlated and the inverse predictor with the teachers’ resilience. The researcher recommends that all stakeholders may collaborate with each other to create programs and activities that will make sure that teachers’ level of stress is minimized that they can perform at their best and be able to have better performance and outcome for the school and the learners.
