Protocl of coordinated climate model experiments for studying tropical basin interaction

This document contains the experiment protocol for TBIMIP, the Tropical Basin Interaction Model Intercomparison Project. These climate model simulations are meant to explore the mechanisms of tropical interbasin interaction through a set of paceamker experiments. The experiment protocal has been devised by the CLIVAR Research Focus on Tropical Basin Interaction (https://www.clivar.org/research-foci/basin-interaction) in collaboration with climate modeling groups from several research centers.
