Data Publication — Love your Data, Methods, and Materials!
Context This short talk was held during the 116th Annual Meeting of the German Zoological Society (DZG) in Stuttgart Abstract Research data is the prime output and basis of science and should be as open & FAIR as possible. To foster reproducibility & replicability, information is required on how data was generated: accessible, understandable, and complete methods & materials need to accompany published data. This talk gives an overview of common data publication routes and ways to increase reproducibility of results. It includes specific suggestions to improve material lists (with RRIDs) and method desciptions (e.g., with a study design protocol like EDA). Target Audience Researchers (Students, PhD candidates, PostDocs, group leaders) Anyone interested Prerequisites none Upload Content File Description 2024-09-12_DZG_DataPublication_archive.pdf Slide deck in PDF/A format 2024-09-12_DZG_DataPublication.key Slide deck in editable .key format
