Activity of Small Enterprises During the Period of Full-Scale Invasion in the Context of Restoration of Territorial Communities

The article examines the impact of Russia's full-scale military invasion on small businesses, with a focus on small private enterprises in Ukraine, which have suffered significant losses and forced relocation. Despite the difficulties, small businesses demonstrated the ability to adapt flexibly, which contributed to their survival and even an increase in the number of new registrations. The author finds that in 2022, after the resumption of registration processes, more than 200 thousand new small businesses were opened, and in 2023 the number of registrations exceeded 300 thousand. The article emphasizes the importance of studying the state of small business, and in particular small private enterprises, during the war to predict its role in the post-war recovery of Ukraine's territorial communities.
