Mass transfer measurements of a self-pumping transpiration cooling system
An experimental study of self-pumping transpiration cooling with different porous media models and cooling fluids has been conducted. Mass flow measurements and a Mach-Zehnder interferometry measurement technique have been used. The main objective is to gain better understanding of the fundamental processes that control the operation and efficiency of self-pumping transpiration cooling technology.
