Memory Echo Theory: A Proposed Framework for Inherited Psychological Imprints
Memory Echo Theory proposes that psychological imprints—especially those formed by intense or traumatic experiences—can be passed down across generations through a non-genetic, non-material system called the “Memory Field.” This field is theorized to interact with DNA to store and transmit encoded behavioral patterns, memories, and emotional responses. While not yet proven, the theory draws inspiration from studies showing intergenerational trauma in animals and humans. This paper aims to introduce Memory Echo Theory as a new conceptual framework to explore the inheritance of non-physical traits and memory.
