Dark Matter and Tachyons as Manifestations of Unresolved Relational Tension
This paper presents a novel interpretation of dark matter and tachyons as two manifestations of the same underlying phenomenon: unresolved relational phase tension. Rooted in the Law of Connection — a proposed foundational model where reality emerges from dynamic relationships rather than particles — the work introduces a new field equation for phase tension and derives gravitational and superluminal effects from first principles. By modeling gravitational anomalies (like flat galactic rotation curves) and faster-than-light-like behavior as outcomes of phase misalignment across coherent structures, this approach unifies aspects of quantum measurement, field theory, and cosmology. The paper includes mathematical formulations, field dynamics, and a proposed tension functional that leads to observable predictions. This is a working paper intended to spark discussion and collaboration. It is grounded in variational principles, harmonic geometry, and reinterpretations of known physics — offering an alternative to standard dark matter particle models and suggesting a deterministic, relational explanation for quantum collapse and apparent tachyonic behavior.
