Beyond Boundaries: Multimodal Approaches to Language and Literature
This research examines multimodal approaches to Language and Literature by focusing on emerging practices that reflect the rapid shift in culture, technology and forms of communication. This study will investigate the transformative trends that represent a departure from conventional practices. The English language, from interactive digital storytelling to multilingual expressions serves as a bridge between Eastern and Western as well as traditional and modern intellectual traditions and cultures. These showcase broader changes in society, including technological advancement, globalisation, inclusivity, environmental consciousness and evolving perspectives on identity. The findings of this research establish that the English language and literature are changing at a fast pace, and exploring complex narratives while addressing urgent social concerns.
