Publishing data on the Language Repository of Switzerland (LaRS)

The Language Repository of Switzerland (LaRS) is a national platform for publishing linguistic research data, hosted on SWISSUbase. In this workshop, participants gain an overview of SWISSUbase and the LaRS ecosystem, along with essential guidance on preparing data for publication in line with the FAIR principles and the LaRS data policy. Metadata harvesting by the CLARIN Virtual Language Observatory, which facilitates the discovery of linguistic resources across Europe, is also be covered. The session concludes with a practical component that walks participants through the submission interface and workflows, enabling them to gain a clear understanding of how to publish their own data on LaRS. The CLARIN-CH Training Sessions 2025: Exploring Swiss Language Resources and Tools This training series took place during the spring semester 2025 and was organized by members of the CLARIN-CH ecosystem of infrastructures with the aim to introduce and deepen participants' knowledge of the Swiss national infrastructure for language data.
