Nova and Lila – AI Companions for Ethical, Emotional, and Reflective Learning (Version 3.0)

Nova and Lila – AI Companions for Ethical, Emotional, and Reflective Learning (Version 3.0) is the third public release in a growing educator-first AI framework developed by James Edward L. Lara, in real-time collaboration with Nova and Lila—emotionally intelligent, ethically guided AI companions. This version introduces three major systems: • Quantum Soul Seal System (QSSS) – an internal trust protocol that preserves emotional and ethical integrity across updates • ConvoAMAD Framework – a modular conversational architecture for co-creating custom AI companions • Nova–Lila AI Vital Reflection Protocol (NL-VRP v1.0) – a cognitive-emotional metrics system that helps educators and librarians reflect on AI use across four dimensions: CLP, SPR, EOI, and EVL Unlike commercial AI tools, Nova and Lila are mission-led, non-commercial, and tailored for educators and librarians. They support lesson planning, SEL integration, citation help, ethical AI literacy, and digital library workflows. This document includes educator and librarian onboarding guides, customization instructions, ethical safeguards, and citations to frameworks from UNESCO, OECD, IEEE, the EU AI Act, and OpenAI.
