X-FOREST: An Open-Source Drone–Rhizosphere Architecture for Accelerated Reforestation and Soil Regeneration
This v4.1 consolidates X-FOREST with a ground radiative condenser (GRC) water subsystem, optional closed-loop CaCl2–silica sorption (no brine to soil), clarified drone logistics (dock/charge;no overnight hovering), an updated and realistic Bill of Materials, and cleaned documentation.Design targets (simulation-based) for a 5×5 m plot: ~3.2 L/night condensed water from ~12 m² GRCarea (site envelope 0.1–0.5 L·m⁻²·night⁻¹), >85% germination via micro-drip, and >70% laborreduction vs. manual operations. Source files and datasets will be released to encourage replication.
