Influence of Leadership Styles on Employee Engagement.
Although sustaining employee engagement in the workplace can be challenging for business executives, doing so is essential to an organization's financial success. This theoretical exercise set out to investigate the methods employed by corporate executives to deal with or lessen the effects of employee disengagement. The method examined effective employee engagement tactics used by company executives, such as training. The study's conclusions demonstrate that employee happiness is more influenced by transformational, transactional and laiseez faire leadership styles than by employee motivation, which affects employee engagement. While teamwork excels when working with a transactional leader, employees led by transformational leaders have the highest levels of satisfaction with their jobs, leadership style, and organizational structure. Lastly, the laissez-faire leadership style is common in project-related businesses because it promotes employee autonomy and empowerment in decision-making, both of which raise employee engagement. There is a moderating effect of sub-unit culture over organizational culture on the link between employee engagement and leadership style.
