Hypothesis of Temperature-Based Intelligence: Theoretical Basis for High-Temperature Life Forms
This work proposes a hypothesis of temperature-based intelligence — a theory that the average body temperature of intelligent life forms may scale proportionally with the surface temperature of their home planet. Based on the human temperature-to-environment ratio (~2.44), it is suggested that intelligent life might exist in extreme high-temperature conditions on exoplanets such as 55 Cancri e or Kepler-70b. The paper presents mathematical reasoning, physical-chemical assumptions, and thermodynamic arguments, exploring the possibility of thermointellectual biochemistry. This hypothesis offers a new perspective on astrobiological search criteria.
