LaFeO₃ nanoparticles : A Review on Wet Chemical Synthesis and Its Applications
Abstract: Lanthanum ferrite (LaFeO₃) nanoparticles, a class of perovskite oxides, have gained considerable attention due to their excellent electrical, magnetic, and catalytic properties. Among the various synthesis methods, wet chemical techniques such as sol-gel, hydrothermal, co-precipitation, and sonochemical, combustion method, offer precise control over particle size, morphology, and crystallinity, making them highly suitable for tailoring material properties. This review provides an in-depth analysis of different wet chemical synthesis strategies for LaFeO₃ nanoparticles. Furthermore, the functional applications of LaFeO₃ in environmental remediation, energy conversion, catalysis, gas sensing, photocatalysis, energy storage, and electronic devices are highlighted.
