Human Adipose Derived Stem Cell (ADSC) And Adipose Tissue Engineering Applications

Background: Mesenchymal stem cells may be isolated from leftover adipose or other tissues after surgery at clinics. The purity of stem cells can be characterized by cell surface expression proteins on specific cell phenotypes. Stem cells in culture differentiate in presence of inducer proteins, ready for transplantation. Aim: Surface proteins on differentiated adipose cells determine the phenotype and differentiation as bioinformatics tool to assess the graft fit for human transplantation. Materials and Methods: Cultured ADSC mesenchymal stem cells indicated controlled cell proliferation good for human transplantation applications with cited literature as physician’s guide. Results: In the cultures, isolated adipose derived stem cells showed presence of cell surface marker CD105 proteins as determinants of phenotyping and molecular differentiation. The ADSC stem cells displayed multi-differentiation potential to serve as protein fingerprints fit for different regenerative skin transplants. Discussion: The cell-differentiation proteins serve as a bioinformatic database or tool “Obesity Regulating Stem Cell Surface Proteomics (ORS-CSP)” in drug development and treatment. Using differentiating adipose stem cells encaged inside the polymeric 3D scaffold materials are potential implant matrices for skin, breast, and many extracellular transplantation human use under clinical practice regulations of treatment. Conclusion: The ADSC stem cells isolated from fat tissues showed stem cell surface protein markers as bioinformatics tools for current transplantation practices in treatment of skin, breast regeneration and adipose tissue engineering matrices.
