THE ROLE OF SPEECH ACTIVITY IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND EVOLUTION OF LANGUAGE
Modern linguistics studies language as a complex system, which necessitates the analysis of paradigmatic and syntagmatic relationships. These relationships allow individual language units to interact with others across various levels of linguistic structure. Each language unit is connected and realized through paradigmatic and syntagmatic relationships, making them essential components for the functioning of the language system. All linguistic units participate in paradigms, while syntagmatic interactions transform these units into speech elements during speech activity.
