Gravity Reimagined: Unveiling G's Variations and Solving the Hubble Tension
We introduce the “Acquired Gravity” framework, in which the gravitational constant G varies in response to a cosmic background field. By treating gravity as energy drawn from this dynamic field, our model naturally explains the long-standing scatter in laboratory measurements of G over the past forty years and resolves the ±9 % discrepancy between early-Universe and local determinations of the Hubble constant. The same mechanism also accounts for flat galactic rotation curves without invoking dark matter, the anomalous accelerations of the Pioneer spacecraft, and the primordial lithium abundance problem. Moreover, it predicts tiny, latitude-dependent shifts in terrestrial G measurements at the parts-per-million level. Finally, we outline five prototype mechanical designs for harvesting gravitational energy from the background field and propose a roadmap for experimental tests.
