Five syntypes FMB 92. Type locality. “ Pa-tong ” [Badong, Hubei Province]. Remarks. The type collection of Gredler is in the Franziskanermuseum in Bozen (Zilch 1974). Kobelt and Möllendorff (1898) assigned this species to the subgenus Sinica. We did not examine the types, hence, no diagnosis is provided.
