A Sustainable Supply Chain with Several Retailers and A Single Manufacturer formed in an Inventory Model with Fluctuating Transport Expenses

In response to consumer demand for eco-friendly products, the assembly and redesign approach known as sustainable single manufacturer multi retailer emerged. Order quantity and discrete purchasing cost reduction are additional factors that influence the manufacturer's desired minimal cost along with carbon emissions. The model is used to optimize the order quantity (lot-size) for production and rework, the amount of money spent on green initiatives and the environmental measure. The findings of the research work suggest that the profitability of the producers and retailers will grow once the environment and consumer demand for green products are taken into account. In addition, the model is illustrated with various numerical examples, with the goal of investigating the effects of model parameters according to the ideal outcomes.
