Ethical Dilemmas in AI Decision-Making: Balancing Innovation and Accountability
Abstract As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to permeate various sectors, ethical concerns surrounding AI decision-making have become critical. This paper explores the ethical dilemmas that arise in the development and deployment of AI systems, focusing on the tension between innovation and accountability. Using applied research, the paper delves into issues such as bias in AI algorithms, data privacy, transparency, and responsibility. By analyzing real-world case studies and existing literature, we seek to provide a clearer understanding of how organizations and governments can balance innovation with the need for ethical accountability in AI systems.
