A STUDY ON INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING IN INDIA

ABSTRACT Present study concerned with institutional planning in India. This study is based on a qualitative approach. Research data and information are collected from secondary sources. Education is a very powerful element in the world. Education essential for human resources development. Educational planning is a very important instrument to run an independent government. Institutional planning is also a part of educational planning. Institution with low manpower, technical and natural resources can run successfully if it has proper planning. In modern times utilisation of technological resources in education is essential for institutional planning. Institutional planning is essential for effective and systematic resource development. Planning is a systematic process to achieve future goals. Any institution can prosper if it has a proper plan. Institutional planning is a process developed by the administrative leader and decision maker of the institution. Institutional planning is a basic management task for achieving higher levels of effectiveness, welfare of society and human resources development.
