THE MECHANISM OF MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE TORAX AND VERTEBRA IN OFFSPRING IN CHILDREN WITH DIABETES DEVELOPED DURING PREGNANCY
The purpose of the study. Evaluation of the morphological growth and development dynamics of the thoracic cage (vertebral disc, intervertebral discs (bone-joint, ligamentous apparatus) under the influence of experimental diabetes mellitus at the stages of postnatal ontogenesis. Material and methods. 104 white laboratory rats weighing 150-200 grams were used as the research material. Laboratory animals were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 consisted of 30 female rats selected for control. Group 2 included 35 rats for the experiment, and group 3 included 30 female and 9 male laboratory rats for the experiment. Result. The state of mineral metabolism in the blood plasma of control animals was consistent with the tradition of increasing the concentration of minerals: calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in the postnatal period of rats, and the norm for each age was proven offspring born from experimental diabetic pregnancies, pathological changes were observed in the thoracic cage and spinal disc tissue due to impaired blood Ca, Mg, and P concentrations.
