Absurd Numbers: A New Algebraic Structure for Resolving Division by Zero
This paper introduces a new mathematical framework to resolve the long-standing issue of division by zero. Through extending the current number system with "absurd numbers" to handle operations involving division by zero in a consistent and algebraically sound manner. The framework, built on the concept of recursively defined hierarchical numbers called absurd units, provides an algebraic structure that preservers axioms of standard number systems while introducing mechanism to address division by zero in finite form. This paper provides a basic overview of the theory and its potential applications, and acknowledges that further development of the theory is needed.
