Calamotropha atkinsoni Zeller 1863

Calamotropha atkinsoni Zeller, 1863 Figs. 102, 160. Calamotropha atkinsoni Zeller, 1863. Type locality: India, near Calcutta. = Calamotropha fuscicostella Snellen, 1880: 247. Type locality: Indonesia, Sulawesi [Celebes], Bonthain; Makassar; Maros. Błeszyński, 1961 e: 196 (syn.) = Crambus holodryas Meyrick, 1933: 444, 445. Type locality: [Thailand] Siam = Calamotropha atkinsoni malaica Błeszyński, 1961 e: 196, 197, pl. 32 50, pl. 63 fig. 189. Type locality: Singapore MATERIAL No material was investigated for this species. DIAGNOSIS In male genitalia (Fig. 102), the very short, rounded uncus and the two conspicuous spine-like cornuti on the vesica unambiguously separate this species from other Calamotropha species (Błeszyński, 1961). In female genitalia (Fig. 160), the conspicuous sterigma covered by minute hair forms a chamber surrounding the antrum. DISTRIBUTION Ranging from India to the Philippines (Błeszyński, 1961). REMARKS Błeszyński (1961) reports this species from the Philippines.
