Comparing The Acromio-Axillo Suprasternal Notch With Modified Mallampati Test To Predict Difficult Tracheal Intubation In Adults In Supine Position

Background: In this study we propose to compare the diagnostic efficacy of novel criteria, AASI in relation with MMT, in predicting the challenging visibility of the larynx during endotracheal intubation in patients receiving general anesthesia. Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted in the department of anesthesia at Trichy Medical College Hospital and Research Center, among 300 cases undergoing surgery with general anesthesia. Patients aged 18-60 years from both genders and ASA class I and II were included in the study. A total of 300 cases were included in the study. SPSS was used to analyze the data.
