This article is devoted to the issue of technical regulation in construction in the context of the liberalization of the standardization system. The article describes the activities, goals and functions of self-regulatory organizations in the construction industry in developed countries. Possibilities and prospects of applying this experience in Uzbekistan are analyzed.
