Evolution of innovative development of the agricultural sphere
The object of the study is breeding methods as an innovative tool for the development of theagricultural sector. The subject of the study is the evolution of breeding methods in agricultural production. The purpose of the study is to trace the evolution of breeding methods in agriculture from primitiveto genetic engineering to disseminate this knowledge in society in order to form the perception ofmodern innovations in agricultural production. The scientific novelty consists in the systematization of scientific views on the evolution of breedingmethods in agricultural production, substantiation of their innovativeness to form the correct publicperception of its resultsThe practical value of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their use to form the correct publicperception of information on modern innovations in agricultural production, in particular GMOs.Conclusions. It is substantiated that the development of breeding methods meets the needsof society, the number of which is rapidly growing. It is emphasized that the uneven distribution ofagricultural land on the planet creates a threat of famine in certain regions, which encourages furthersearch for ways to improve breeding methods. It is determined that the level of development ofbreeding in different regions of the planet depended on climatic conditions, soil quality, development ofproductive forces, as well as on the center of primary origin of plants, of which eight are identified onthe planet. It is emphasized that breeding remains one of the powerful tools in solving the food securityof the planet. The increase in yield affects the increase in the efficiency of agricultural production, whichimproves the well–being of the population in rural areas and the quality of their socio–economic livingconditions. Therefore, breeding throughout the evolution of its development remains an innovative toolthat contributes to the further development of the agricultural sector and civilization as a whole.
