A Cloud-Enabled Parking Management System Integrating IoT Sensors and Computer Vision
This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-enabled cloud-based smart parking system aimed at addressing urban parking challenges. The system integrates IR sensors for vehicle detection, ESP8266 modules for cloud communication, and Arduino Uno for gate control. It features real-time parking slot monitoring, automated payment processing via RFID and license plate recognition, and predictive analytics for slot availability. A web and mobile application provides users with updates on parking status, reducing congestion and enhancing efficiency. The system is scalable for applications in shopping malls, airports, and universities, demonstrating the potential of IoT in smart city solutions.
