Design and Implementation of a Digital PID Controller for Dynamic Systems Stabilization
This document presents the development of a digital control system using a discrete PID controller applied to a model represented by a transfer function. Based on the system response to various test signals and the identification of parameters using methods such as Ziegler-Nichols and the area method, a digital PID controller was designed and implemented. Both the open-loop and closed-loop systems were simulated, allowing for a performance comparison. The results show significant improvement in rise time, overshoot, and steady-state error. The work concludes that implementing a digital PID controller is effective for stabilizing and improving the dynamics of the system.
