Bridging Disciplinary Boundaries: Models and Frameworks for Effective Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Abstract: In order to solve complicated, real-world issues and promote deeper learning, interdisciplinary collaboration in education has grown in popularity. However, successful models and frameworks that span disciplines are needed to realize its full potential. The theoretical underpinnings, advantages, and difficulties of multidisciplinary collaboration in educational settings are examined in this work. It assesses frameworks that facilitate cross-disciplinary collaborative planning, teaching, and research by referencing case studies, current literature, and best practices. In order to improve multidisciplinary efficacy, the study ends with suggestions for educators, administrators, and legislators.
