PASSENGER D4.11 - Selection, update of information and feeding of relevant sections in the RMIS platform-R2

The Raw Materials Information System (RMIS)[1] is an instrument of the EuropeanCommission, developed by the Directorate-General (DG) Joint Research Centre (JRC)[2] incooperation with the DG for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs(GROWTH)[3]. The RMIS is the Commission’s reference web-based knowledge platform onnon-fuel, non-agricultural raw materials from primary and secondary sources and providesan overview of the European raw materials context. The information generated duringPASSENGER project will feed into the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS) which willboost the impact of the project far beyond the current consortium. This deliverable is a second report on the selection and update of sections in the RMISwebpage and it will outline the main procedures for selecting and updating the informationto populate the relevant sections of the RMIS platform. The PASSENGER project will befocused on identifying the best practices in data collection and selecting the most criticaldata for harmonization within the RMIS platform. The final purpose of this deliverable willbe to establish the basis for future updates, enabling the addition of new information to theplatform. This will serve as a pivotal starting point essential for reducing dependency oncritical resources.
