D4.5 Concept for Transnational Open Access Trainings, Implementation and Activity Reports

The Transnational Open Access Training is a three to five-day, hybrid training programme dedicated to dynamic engagement with multi-sectoral, international stakeholders. The aim is to combine the exchange of participants’ own perspectives with input and discussions with experts from different sectors and disciplines, as well as from art. Learning and study methods include pre-class preparatory reading, hands-on training on social media use, interactive discussions with experts and decision-makers, group work, as well as the study of applied examples from art. The module thereby covers central issue areas of sustainable development affected by digitalisation, including governance, labour or education, and provides the space to critically discuss related political and societal questions. By contrasting different approaches to the field under scrutiny, the module helps understand the opportunities and risks of technical advances and facilitate visionary thinking about the utilisation of the transformative force of digitalisation for sustainable development.
