STATE-BUILDING ACTIVITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION OF UKRAINIAN NATIONALISTS IN THE TERRITORY OF UKRAINE IN 1941–1942
The article examines the state-building activities of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists to form a network of organizational centers for the development of the national liberation movement and the creation of local self-government bodies in the territory of Ukraine in 1941–1942 during the German-Soviet war. It is established that the activities of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists during this period were concentrated not only in the regions of Western Ukraine, but also spread to other territories. It turned out that in a short time the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists managed to create its cells in almost all eastern regions of Ukraine. It is proved that the marching groups of both wires of the OUN (Melnyk and Bandera) carried out significant organizational work in Ukraine to attract the local population to their side. The main goal of the derivative groups was to create local governments and deploy state-building processes, and the main task was to take civil power into their own hands in each settlement.
