Pedagogical Leadership: A gateway Towards Achieving Quality in Early Childhood Education and Care in South Africa

This study investigated stakeholders' perspectives on pedagogical leadership in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) and its relationship with quality practices. Stakeholders included ECCE principals, teachers, district officials, and directors, selected through random sampling. The research examined howpedagogical leadership fosters quality practices and contributes to addressing gaps in leadership related studies within ECCE. Given the global prioritisation of quality ECCE, the study focused on identifying leadership approaches that enhance practices in the sector
