This study makes an attempt to analyze whether the factors (training content, training environment, training facilitation, learning outcome, training methods) associated with training have impacts on the perception of the trainees towards effective training and to study whether the trainees age and gender has a significant influence on their perception. Keywords: Training; Training methods; Perception; Training effectiveness; Workplace JEL Classification Number: M12, M14, M53
