OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVING THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HIGHER MEDICAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Modern technologies are rapidly evolving, and artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming an integral part of many areas of life, including education. In medical training, AI opens new horizons, significantly improving the quality of future doctors' education. The application of AI in medical education contributes to the personalization of learning by providing an individual approach to each student, analyzing their progress, and offering the most effective teaching methods. Furthermore, AI can aid in simulating clinical situations, giving students the opportunity to practice in conditions as close to real-life as possible, without risk to patients. This is especially important in situations where access to clinical practice is limited, as became evident during the COVID-19 pandemic and the imposition of martial law in contemporary settings. The use of AI also enhances diagnostics and decision-making, teaching students to work with large volumes of data and utilize them to make accurate medical decisions. Integrating AI into educational processes helps not only to improve the quality of education but also to reduce the time required to master complex medical concepts. Thus, the relevance of using AI in medical student training is driven by the need to improve the quality of education, personalize the learning process, and prepare specialists ready to work in the context of the digital transformation of medicine.
