ANALYSIS OF CO-OCCURRENCE AND SEMANTICS OF NUCLEAR NOMINATIVE EMOTIVE UNITS NAMING "DESPAIR" WITH ADJECTIVES IN ENGLISH, GERMAN, UKRAINIAN AND BULGARIAN LANGUAGES

This paper presents the results of the research of co-occurrence and semantics of nuclear nominative emotive units naming “despair” with adjectives, based on material from linguistic corpora for English, German, Ukrainian and Bulgarian. It was found that co-occurrence effects the semantics of the of nuclear nominative emotive units naming “despair” by intensifying its experience and negativity. In this paper we gather eights groups of adjectives which have frequent co-occurrence with “despair” naming units.
