La enseñanza de la ingeniería industrial con herramientas CAD/CAM/CAE para el desarrollo sostenible

The current technological evolution, converging towards Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0, requires a redesign of educational approaches to better respond to increasingly essential needs. Careers related to industrial engineering must increasingly be linked to disruptive tools, in order to promote compliance with sustainable development goals. This work presents an experience of using CAD/CAM/CAE tools in the teaching of Industrial Engineering, specifically in the Mechanical Engineering career at the University of Holguín, to improve the acquisition of contextualized knowledge towards compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals. The effectiveness of using CAD/CAM/CAE tools in the teaching process of Industrial Engineering to enhance the acquisition of knowledge related to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals through research projects at the local level has been demonstrated. The more intensive use of programming languages, artificial intelligence and office automation linked to CAD/CAM/CAE systems were identified as future areas
