Safeguarding Women against Sexual Harassment: Legal Structures, Obstacles, and Prospects
Abstract: Sexual harassment of women is a pervasive social problem that can have major effects on one's physical, mental, and professional health. Many women still experience sexual harassment in many ways, particularly in public places, workplaces, and educational institutions, despite major legal improvements around the world. The nature and effects of sexual harassment are examined, current legislative frameworks are reviewed, their efficacy is assessed, and practical measures to strengthen protection mechanisms are recommended.
