GLOBALIZATION: NATIONAL SECURITY PROBLEM IN AZERBAIJAN UNDER GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE

In the article, as the high development of globalization, integration and information technology processes impose new obligations, as a result of new realities and events taking place on the basis of national interests, the necessity of the specification of internal and external threats to the Republic of Azerbaijan, more efficient, purposeful, flexible implementation of complex and consistent measures to ensure national interests is analyzed. Additionally, the article is dedicated to the critical importance of combating transnational crimes, such as terrorism, aggression, and separatism, as well as religious and political extremism, the illegal trafficking of drugs, radioactive substances, weapons, and human trafficking. This issue is extremely important to all countries in the world, including the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the same time, the article discusses and analyzes the declaration of 2024 as the "Green World Solidarity Year" in Azerbaijan and the hosting of the COP29 international event.
