INTERACTIVE METHODS FOR IMPROVING LEARNERS' ORAL COMMUNICATION
This article explores the efficacy of interactive methods in enhancing learners’ oral communication skills. It examines the limitations of traditional, teacher-centered approaches and advocates for a shift towards learner-centered methodologies that prioritize active participation and meaningful communication. Specific interactive techniques, including role-playing, simulations, games, and debates, are analyzed in terms of their pedagogical benefits and practical applications in diverse language learning contexts. The impact of learner anxiety on oral performance is also considered, along with strategies to mitigate this.
