SOCIAL WORKER IN SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN AZERBAIJAN: DEMAND AND NECESSITY

Abstract The presence of social workers in secondary schools plays an important role in improving the quality of education, maintaining internal discipline and developing social cooperation. The demand for social workers in secondary educational institutions in Azerbaijan is very high. Because social workers support students and their families to make the educational process more qualitative and effective, as well as help solve social problems and provide additional incentives for students’ development. The activities of social workers help to make the educational environment more favorable by establishing healthy relationships between students, school and parents, and teachers and students. The article justifies the importance of social workers in secondary schools in Azerbaijan and mentions the work they will perform, their duties, and offers staff training in the specialty of “social worker working with secondary school students”.
