From human expert to digital knowledge: applying methods for knowledge extraction

Edge AI, which refers to the deployment of edge computing and artificial intelligence (AI) models and algorithms on edge devices like IoT devices and embedded systems, is rapidly evolving with several emerging trends and engineering principles applied to micro, deep, meta, and end-to-end AI system verification, validation, and testing. This presentation, as part of EdgeAI, decribes the importance of using human expert knowledge and transfer this knowledge into digital knowledge. Experts from Infineon Technologies Austria AG, SoftwareCUBE SCP GmbH, Austria and TU Wien work on methods to extract knowledge from divers documents such as Failure Trees generated by domain experts to document possible root causes in case of deviations occured in semiconductur processing, log files from production tools as well of extracting and summarizing historical data.
